Amado, a key member of the “Kara” and the man in charge of the “Research and Development Technology Department,” takes Shikadai hostage and asks him to defect to the village of Konohagakure. Amado promises to provide him with the information he knows in return for the asylum, and although Naruto doesn’t trust him, he agrees to negotiate with him because Shikadai’s life is at stake.
Meanwhile, at the hideout of the “Kara,” Kashin Koji and Jigen confront each other. Each of them is pondering to find out the other’s true intentions.
